Terms of Hire

 

Pricing

The hire price is stated on the invoice. The hire price is for one day only, unless otherwise specified. Multi-day hire will incur additional charges.  All hired goods are subject to transport and handling charges and a security deposit (the latter of which is fully refundable provided no loss/damage to goods hired out by Mangala Sootra).

Transport & Handling

Transport and handling charges are additional and will be calculated separately based on event location, quantity of items hired and venue access. All items hired out by Mangala Sootra will only be transported, handled and installed by our crew.

Ordering, Advance Payments and Confirmation

A 50% non-refundable advance payment is required to secure the booking. Clients will have 7 days from the date the quote is provided to make the payment. If payment is not received during this period, the booking will be released. Once the advance payment is received and cleared, only then will the order be deemed as confirmed. Balance payment is due 2 days prior to event date. All invoices must be paid in full prior to event date. If ordering within 14 days prior to an event the total invoice amount must be paid in full.

Security Deposit

A security deposit is calculated at the discretion of Mangala Sootra. The security deposit will be used in the case of items that are damaged or lost. The hirer is responsible to protect all items from the elements, including but not limited to, rain, high winds, sun damage, and keep the items secure during the hire period. The hirer must use the items for the purpose and capacity that they were designed. Security deposit refunds will be made within 7 days of the return date of the items, less any repair/replacement charges and late fees. The security deposit will be returned via bank transfer only.

Cancellation

In the event of a booking cancellation, the advance payment is forfeited. If event is cancelled within 2 days of the event, the full payment is forfeited. 

Images

Mangala Sootra reserves the right to photograph all hired items once set up at the event and publish them online. In the event you are not agreeable to this, the same must be communicated in writing prior to confirmation of the order.

Release and Indemnity

The hirer hereby indemnifies and holds indemnified the owner from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands and expenses in any way arising from injury, death, loss of income or damage caused to the hirer or its property, or any other third party or property, in concern to the items hired.

The hirer accepts the above hire terms and acknowledges that its acceptance is a condition upon paying the deposit and taking possession of any hire items, or services rendered by Mangala Sootra
